Cornelius Crans, president of the CIPC, is in St. Claude in France honored as confrere of the ‘Maitre de Pipiers’.
He had to prove that he can smoke a pipe according to the severe rules of St. Claude. Now he is, along with other smokers, part of the new Confreres and Championnat for pipe smokers.
