Dear pipe smokers friends,
On behalf of the Dutch Fedaration of Pipe Smokers (NFP) I’m very pleased to invite you all for the forth time (after Purmerend 1952 – Noordwijkerhout 1993 – Eindhoven 2011) to the Netherlands for participating in the 16th CIPC World Championship slow Pipe Smoking. Given the difficulties pipe smokers all over the world are encountering, we are very happy to be able to organize the special event again, altough given the Dutch legislation it is not an easy task. Nevertheless we succeeded to get the green light to organize the CIPC World Championship on a private estate, the exact location will be revealed later. The event will take place in the proximity of the historical village of OIRSCHOT, near the city of EINDHOVEN.
On our special website (www.OIRSCHOT2025.com) you will find information regarding nearby hotels / accommodations, travel possibilities including airports and train connections. Given the enclosed nature of the championship event, transportation to the venue will be organized and is included in the price for the championship participants. Please notice there are in total 250 competition seats available so “first come – first served” and “full is full”. Therefore, to have an optimal control on logistics and finances, it is MANDATORY that competition, as well as gala-dinner fees are paid IN ADVANCE by bank transfer. Cash payment during the registration is NOT POSSIBLE because of Dutch bank rules. Only exceptions will be allowed when bank tranfers are not possible due to geographical or political circumstances.
