Dear pipe smokers,
On behalf of the Dutch Federation for Pipe-smokers (NFP), I am very pleased to invite you for the fourth time (after 1952 Purmerend; 1993 Noordwijkerhout; 2011 Eindhoven) to The Netherlands for participating in the World Championship slow Pipe Smoking.
Given the difficulties pipe smokers all over the world are encountering, we are incredibly happy to be able to organize this event again, although given Dutch legislation it is not an easy task.
Nevertheless, we succeeded in getting the green light for deploying the World Championship on a private estate, the exact location of which will be revealed later. The event will be established in proximity to the historic city of Oirschot near the city of Eindhoven.
On this website you will find information regarding accommodation nearby, travel possibilities including airports and train connections. Given the enclosed nature of the event, transportation from Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven to the venue will be organized and is included in the price.
Therefore, to have optimal control on logistics and finances, it is MANDATORY that competition fees, as well as gala-dinners, are paid in advance through this website. Cash payment during registration is NOT POSSIBLE and only a few exceptions will be allowed when online payment is not possible due to geographical or political circumstances.
